PTI bringing a New Light in the most “difficult province” to Govern

With time comes change and we’ve clearly seen over the last few days. This can be especially said in the case of the politics of Pakistan where just recently Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were sentenced to prison for 10 and 8 years respectively. This was the long awaited and also surprising outcome that took the country by surprise. The biggest smile and sense of satisfaction I think was coming from none other than the leader of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaaf) Imran Khan.

He and his party have been striving to promote freedom abolition of personal income tax and dismantling religious discrimination in Pakistan. One of the main things that had put a strong spotlight on the PTI is its ongoing involvement and influence in KPK and the things that have improved in KPK during PTI reign.

Imran Khan has sworn over the years to get rid of the clear corruption in our country and to induce new rules and outlook for the betterment of development in the years to come for Pakistan. Let’s have a look at what the party has been able to do under his leadership. While most worry and even taunt the PTI is still where it was five years ago, there are those who say otherwise and also you can’t completely deny the fact the party most definitely is not “where it started out to be”.

Keeping in mind that K-P was once considered to be the most corrupt province Imran had promised before the elections that, if given the chance, he will wipe out corruption and so far, he seems to be on track:

Twenty-five new bills have been passed by the K-P assembly to date. The bill regarding the right to access to matters of information has been updated by the PTI giving the people of K-P the right to access all the information online.

There is also the major break trough where the Right to Service act has been implemented and acted upon where now the citizens have the right to ask questions about any public matter and government will be bound to answer that question in a prescribed time. The citizen can also file a complaint against officials who do not comply with the prescribed time-period.

The police has been made independent and it’s been made clear that no political influence has been induced in its workings. This is a good step considering just how much the political parties have used this means to get by their works.

What’s a world without this one small yet effective word and it looks like the PTI has been very firm on making sure that it has its existence acknowledged and implemented.

The Peshawar High Court has introduced a unique justice system in Pakistan through which the people of KPK and tribal areas, especially the distressed and poor segment of society, would get justice within hours. It’s called the E-Citizens Grievance Redressal System.

The PHC  can now receive complaints and applications just on a phone through the means of our Human Rights Directorate. Simple, Strong and most importantly Effective.

Medicine and treatment is now free in all government hospitals of K-P and the government has also launched a campaign called Sehat ka Insaaf that aims to fight against polio. So far, 1.3 million children have been immunised as part of this campaign.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has congratulated Imran Khan (a leader to be remembered for generations) on taking on a successful feat such as the anti-polio drive because a recent report showed that no case of polio have been seen in K-P after the campaign – that in itself is a big achievement for the party.

Education Reform by PTI

PTI has shown its plans to bring a fundamental change in education as well. The government has recruited up to a total number of 8000 teachers and that’s not all 6000 more are on their way – all to be appointed by the NTS.

Education project plans of large size are underway as we speak in the city where the people can choose from a variety of professions and fields.

Independent monitoring systems have been introduced to ensure attendance of both teachers and students. It will monitor around 28000 schools in the province. The project was launched on April 16, 2014.

there is the Tameer e School plan started by the PTI government to raise funds for K-P schools that are in truly deplorable conditions and details of missing facilities in the schools are given online.

Donors can choose to fund a particular school and have the right to check if their funds are being used at the right place.

To be straight to the point this is just some of the miraculous work the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf and Imran Khan has made through all the dust that was left behind. It’s also clear and safe enough to say that the storm they’ve brought is looking for its new destination.
